Hello,

Could anyone help me distinguish a word in the sentences in a mp3 file?

It just lasts a few seconds.

This is from a seminar about hypnosis. It is talking about how to get people to accept hypnosis. There must a reason, but I don't think that word I got stuck with is "reason".

Now this is sometimes called the reason/ withem, the what's it for me, so that's what people think all the time. They want to buy into something that thinking what's in it for me so at that point I start putting the withthem the what's in it

Thank you in advance!

WIIFM - it's the initials of "What's in it for me?"

He turns the initials into a word that sounds like "wiffum".

Thank you so much! Beforeing posting, I have asked a net friend of mine to help me identify that word. He has studied in the USA. His English is very good, but he also says he doesn't know.

Students should note that this wiffum, or WIIFM is not standard English usage, or at least not yet.

And that is why the person tells us what it stands for a couple of times.
