    The humans

    Are these sentences correct?
The humans indwell the Earth, on which they travel around the central orb of their solar system called the Sun once every year. The Sun is supposed to supply them with enough warmth and light to survive on their rocky planet for millions of years to come.

In what context do you want to use these sentences?

It's supposed to? Does that mean it doesn't?

    Re: The humans

I had to look up "indwell" and was surprised to find it exists. I wouldn't use it.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

The underlined words sound to me like a translation of the German soll, which is likely as your native language is German. In your sentence, approximate English equivalents of the first part of your sentence could be:

Apparently the sun can supply them ...
The sun is said to be capable of supplying them ...

    Re: The humans

You can more than likely delete the first word.

That's not context. We need to know more.

Is it, for example, your preliminary report back to your galactic masters after your initial surveillance of our planet?
