English Teacher
Hi, I wanted to ask the experienced teachers here that, how do we ensure the class discipline? I am kind of very friendly teacher. They get too relaxed with me and keep running up and down in the class. I than have to keep reminding them about discipline and at times get louder to let them hear with concentration. I need some serious help in this regard. Thanks.

Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
I don't know what it's like there, but when I was growing up if you misbehaved you got sent to the principal's office.

Thanks a lot indeed for the corrections. My students are of 7th grade so probably 12-13 years old. They say in our school that noise is alright as long as they are learning but as we got schooling all the emphasize was on discipline making so being honest this is getting bit difficult for me to cope with the policy. I am of the view that if they don't listen to the teacher with discipline what knowledge would they get. The stragglers specially would be hit hard. I have tried doing counselling and had to do all kinds of desk banging to getting louder, telling off but believe still have not got total control over my classes.
How many students are you teaching at one time?
