    Re: Tenses

    Hi,

I appear to be having trouble working on the tenses.

Would someone please tell me if the tenses below are correct, and include all the tenses?

    Many thanks

    Harry Smith:

Why is number 6 incorrect ?? Is ts "She is currently performing in the play"?
and i dont know why number 7 is correct because it says "She is performing in the play tomorrow" I think it should be She will be performing in the play tomorrow.

    Thank you :)

    Hi tahiri
I'm not Harry, but I can give you some input:

That would be a correct sentence, but did you notice that you changed more than one thing?
    .
and i dont know why number 7 is correct because it says "She is performing in the play tomorrow"
Yes, and that it correct. We use the present continuous to talk about a future arrangement / plan (not just to talk about what is happening at the moment).
    .
I think it should be She will be performing in the play tomorrow.
That would also be a possibility.
