Under one of the videos of Lindybeige, I found this comment.

Lloyd should write a book that is about precisely nothing in particular.

Lloyd is known for sidetracking in his videos, yet people enjoy listening to him talking regardless of the subject. I'm wondering if this structure isn't semantically illogical. It's almost an oxymoron to write about nothing in particular, precisely. Am I correct?

The precisely part isn't describing the manner of writing, if that's what you mean. It's just emphasising the 'nothingness' of nothing. The book would not be in any way about anything in particular.

It's not a contradiction to write about nothing in particular. This just means that there is no one clear topic.

The expression is odd, but that's deliberate.

(I like Lindybeige, too.)
