seen you used it several time

    Hi.

One of my students tried to speak English with me. She used "received" to mean "understand what I said to her" a few times and I told her it's wrong to say "received". Before telling her that, I said "I've seen you used it several time". (I've seen you used "received" in the past several time")

I wonder if the bold sentence is natural.

Re: seen you used it several time

    It's incorrect. It should be:

I've seen you use it several times.

I have heard you use it. (verb of perception is followed by an infinitive verb)
I am not a teacher or a native speaker.

    Or:

You've used it several times, but I'm afraid it's wrong.

    Should it be:

You've used it several times, but....

    I have another question:

    Is it okay to say:

But I'm afraid it was wrong. (Becasue she used it in the past.)

    How about my second question:

    No. Because it's still wrong.
