    Which version is acceptable?

    Hello,

    a) Providing data when concluding the contract is not a statutory requirement.
    b) A statutory requirement does not provide for data to be stated when concluding the contract.
    c) It is not required by law for data to be stated when concluding the contract.

Could you tell me which, if any, version is the most acceptable?

I think version a) is the closest to the original.

    Re: Which version is acceptable?

Not knowing what the original actually says, it's hard to give an answer. However, a) is the least confusing sentence of the three. c) is second best and b) is a horrible sentence that doesn't really say the same thing.
