[Vocabulary] Does 'offering' imply 'sacrifice'

Hello,
a friend of mine asked me to assist her in translating the title of her BA thesis into English. Her suggestion goes like this:

"...different offerings in disability gymnastics..."

I said that, from what I know, 'offerings' is often used in a context of sacrifice. Obviously, that is not what is meant here.
Do you think that 'offerings' is a good choice here or would it be better to go with 'offers', 'options' or maybe something else?
What do you guys think? Thanks for the help

What do you mean by "offerings". Use as many words as you need to explain it.

Ah no, it's not the full title, just the part that was giving me trouble. What it is supposed to express is the options or possibilities that disabled gymnists have to exercise and compete in an organised fashion. The programs and competitions that are made available/ organised/ offered by some institution.

I hope this made it a bit clearer. I was just really unsure about the use of the word 'offering', whether it could be used in such a context.

Paganism still uses quite a lot of burnt offerings. I can't speak for the sacrificial proclivities of certain small cabals of paganism though.

That is true. But the meaning of a word doesn't necessarily go away, as its applicability vanishes. So would you argue that the word 'offering' can be used synonymously to a word like 'offer'? And if it can, would either word be a good fit for the context?
