    fringe media figure

    From: Yahoo News

WASHINGTON — It was an unusual spectacle, even by the unconventional standards of the Trump administration. After President Trump invited a group of right-wing and fringe media figures to the White House for a “social media summit” on Thursday, the event ended with a former presidential adviser and a CNN political analyst getting into a heated exchange in the Rose Garden.
    1. Does "fringe media figures" mean "people who are not very much involved into media, but still have some link with media"?

    2. Would anyone please give me some examples for this? What kind of people are fringe media figures?

    3. Does President Trump belong to right wing?
Please correct my writing if there's any grammatical solecism.

I think a fringe media figure is someone with a small following.

Yes, but the connection may no be seen as very acceptable- conspiracy theorists on the internet have some connection with the media, but their connection with facts and the truth makes them fringe figures.

No. It refers to people who run media outlets, typically websites, that are not widely considered reliable or truthful.
