    pick it up a little

    Hi.

I was walking on the way home with my cousin. He walked so slowly that I said to him "Could you pick it up a little", Is my sentence natural?

    Yes, that's quite appropriate.

Re: pick it up a little

Your comma after "little" should have been a full stop.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

Re: pick it up a little

Apologies. I completely missed that the quotation was a question so my advice about the full stop was wrong. It should have been a question mark, followed by closing quotation marks, then a space, then the final sentence, as shown in Tarheel's post.
