    storytelling simple preent with before

    Hi,

Let's say that I am telling my son the story 'Waiting for Godot' and I say:

It is a story of two bums who are wating for someone named Godot but Godot never arrives. More importantly, they don't remember that they meet him before.

Should I say '...they have met him before' or just the simple present or both?

    Thanks.

You can also say ...they don't remember meeting him before.

You can also say "... they don't remember having met him before".
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
