    Flagging of closed threads

I would like to suggest that closed threads might be marked more prominently before the reader actually dives into them. It is a bit strange to read through threads that look interesting, only to find that you can't reply to them.

My apologies if I have missed something. I have been away from the forum for a while.

I believe they are marked prominently enough. On the main forum page (on which you can see all the titles in that section), to the left of the thread title, you will see a padlock on a closed thread.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

You can PM us to get them re-opened. Closing dead threads makes it harder for spammers.

It also spares us the resurrection of old threads that had already exhausted a topic when they were closed.

Oooh, I don't know- a five-year-old argument about conditionals, what's not to like?
