about the lyric of "the Music of the night"

    hello,

In the lyric of "the muisc of the night" from "the phantom of the opera"

a lines goes ..."you will live as you've never lived before..."

here, how do you paraphrase the sentence and how to explain "as" grammatically?

    many thanks
