    New forum "Idioms and sayings"

It would be nice to have this as a separate forum.

Could be an idea to think about. I wonder what everyone thinks about it?

I'm not a teacher, so please consider any advice I give in that context.

I like the idea specially if friends can share with us some well known idioms that they use in their countries.

I've just completed moving almost all discussions about IDIOMS to the new Idioms and Sayings folder.

    Enjoy!

Big Red - you are quick on the hoof. I will gladly share some of the more or less obscure uses of the English language I encountered in rural areas of the southern US.
