    b. Things were like in the movies.

    c. It was like in the movies.

    d. My life is as in the movies.

    e. Things were as in the movies.

    f. It was as in the movies.

    Hi Dariab,
    You should use like or as..as when you compare things.
    She is like a flower.
    She is as beautiful as a flower.
    He was running like mad.

    Like in the movies is correct. When you say my life is as in the movies you mean that you life is really like in the movies. I mean you live in the movies.
