    oliver twist

    hi,
    i have to write an introduction for a piece of coursework on oliver twist.
    my teacher has given a few bullets points to help us with what we need to put in the intro. one of them is:
    -demonstrate that you understand what is meant by setting.
    its to do with the different settings (places), but i dont know how to demonstrate it with words.
    please can you help!!

    The setting is the background- in this case the poor criminal society in which he finds himself, etc. What aspects of Victorian society do we see in the book?
