Have I made any mistakes?
As soon as a new election was announced, Brian went out canvassing. He talked to people in pubs, shops, supermarkets and in the streets, and went from door to door putting leaflets in letterboxes. Although he was almost eighty, he never tired of being politically engaged. People was mostly kind towards him, although he was sometimes teased by children who would snatch the leaflets from his hand and run away laughing. Brian was not angry but astounded by the lack of respect the young were showing for elderly people. He remembered with nostalgia his childhood, where there was no mobile phones or computers but people were more caring and had more time for each other. He had four grandchildren and saw how pampered they were but still never satisfied.
