    Do the honor please.

    Hello there;
    I know when paying the bill of restuarant while sitting among friends, we can use the sentence, let me do the honor.
    How to get a favour from someone else ( not in the same situation ) using the same word i.e. honor?
    Do the honor please. ( Is it correct?)
    Could someone mention some examples using the word, honor please?

    Re: Do the honor please.

    I would use the plural:
    Do the honours.
    (I'm a BrE speaker- I don't know if American speakers use the singular)
