    Error in grammar quiz

    I was taking some grammar quizzes and came across this sentence. The "of" should be deleted.

    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    Yes, it's slightly confusing because the subject of the sentence Timothy refers to the name, not to a person by that name. The name Tim is a short form of Timothy.

    Yes.

    Also, I don't think #16 is very well written. I'd replace the semicolon with a full stop and add a comma after way.

    OK. Timothy is called "Tim" for short.
