    The year 1111

    Hello.

How would you pronounce the year 111 and 1111?
111 as one hundred and eleven?
1111 as eleven eleven or as eleven hundred and eleven?

    Re: The year 1111

Without context, it would normally have a comma - 1,111 - and be read as 'one thousand, one hundred and eleven' (AE speakers often omit the 'and')' or 'eleven hundred (and) eleven'.

    I'd say eleven-eleven, like ten-sixty-six.
