    I was on a roll

    Source : self practice

Cholsoo : My English is no good, I’m really frustrated
Yonghee : You know what, today we have a fare well party for Minsoo, but I don’t wanna go there because of Jin-a
Cholsoo :Yeah, She is always picking on you. If you go there, she will nag at you.
Yonghee : She seems to think I’m her punching bag.
And she interferes in my things too much. And She is overstepping her bounds.
    Cholsoo : I was on a roll(hit the ground running). What a state(plight) I am in!

When you are very successful, do you say "I'm on a roll" or "touch golden or Midus hands(Sorry, I forgot the expressions)?
Or do you say in terms of different situations like these?

Being popular : He/she is very popular
Making money : He/she makes a lot of money, he/she is moving up in the world
Becoming a star : He/she is making it big, he/she is a star, he/she is hot these days
General sense': He/she is the bomb, he's the man

When you are having a run of successes you can say I'm on a roll. It can apply to anything.

Re: I was on a roll

    Thanks. Are these also correct?

Being popular : He/she is very popular
Making money : He/she makes a lot of money, he/she is moving up in the world

Re: I was on a roll

They look good to me. (Note that the last two are rather slangy.)

[Edited to note that that one also contains a comma splice.]

Cholsoo: I was on a roll space here (hit the ground running). What a state space here (plight) I am in!

When you are very successful, do you say "I'm on a roll" or "touch golden or Midas hands space here (sorry, I have forgotten the expressions)?
Or do you say something else? in terms of different situations like these?

Being popular : He/she is very popular
Making money : He/she makes a lot of money, he/she is moving up in the world
Becoming a star : He/she is making it big, he/she is a star, he/she is hot these days
General sense': He/she is the bomb, he's the man
Note my changes above. Don't put a space before a colon. Remember to put a space before an opening bracket.

"What a plight I am in!" is OK to refer to the situation you described but I have no idea how either "I was on a roll" or "I hit the ground running" is relevant to the situation.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
