    “Give me a shout”

If someone you haven’t seen in a while (ex boyfriend actually) says “Give me a shout” when parting ways, does it mean something along the lines of “Contact me” or more “Let me know if you need anything”..? How should it be interpreted?

Hi, MissWinther, and welcome to the forum.

    It means "Contact me."
    I am not a teacher.
