    Your mobile got switched off

    Please correct the following sentences.

    When I called you yesterday,
    1. Your mobile got switched off.
    2. I got a message that your mobile was switched off.
    (My intention is when I tried to call someone, his mobile was already switched off. Which one is better to say. Sentence 1 or 2).
    I tried today also. I don't know whether my messages are reaching/ being reached u or not.(if I send messages regularly to some one).

    1 is incorrect. You cannot use got. You should use was.

    ... your mobile was switched off.

    You cannot use being reached.

    If you say

    "When I called you yesterday your mobile got switched off" it makes it seem like calling the phone made it shut down.
