Cody and Luis haven't brought us back the books we lent them: passive forms

Cody and Luis haven't brought us back the books we lent them. (1)
We haven't been brought back the books which were lent Cody and Luis by us. (2)

Here I am again asking for your help. The exercises says I have to turn 1) into passive. I have some doubts about the second part (which were lent Cody and Luis by us). I think it's correct from a grammar point of view, but it sounds unnatural to me.
I admit having already looked for some advice elsewhere on the net. I hope you are available to give me some suggestions. Thank you so much!

Sentence one is good, natural English. There's no reason to convert it into an awkward, unnatural, inferior passive-voice one.

    Try:

We haven't gotten the books back that we lent Cody and Lewis.

There! (We're finished with this one.)
