    Distortion

The crystal pendant light received was found to be defective; the metal ring frames were not found a correct round shape. The ring frame was found to have 5 to 10 mm distortion all around, so the crystal rods are not fitting into the slot of the ring frame. It shows very irregularity and some of the crystal rods are exceeded outward the ring by 20 mm.

Please check the sentences above and advise me if they are grammatically correct.

    Re: Distortion

That is a crystal pendant light fitting. The ring frame is not a true circle but is distorted from 5 -10mm.

In general, rods fit into holes while plates/sheets fit into slots. Which one do you mean? Do you have a picture of the light fitting?

The rods onto which the crystals are hung should be made of metal, not crystal, so you cannot call them crystal rods.
