Imagine you saw a guy looking like this at a party:

How would you describe his hair and his beard?

Is that called a ponytail? He was wearing his hair in a "ponytail"? And his beard a "goatee"?

Is Google available in your location? If so, you can search Images for both words and decide for yourself.

I actually have done that but I think none of them is correct!!

So, could you tell me what words I should use?

English language is used mainly in countries where people think and speak in ways that seems best to themselves. Deciding how to talk about a man's hairstyle is the least of this kind of thinking. I will not presume to tell you how to describe that man's hair. What do you think?

You mean ponytail is correct?

But it's kind of a girly term. Does it work for a dude like that?

Both men and women wear their hair that way.

Boys, girls, men, women and non-binary people can wear their hair in a ponytail (and have been doing so for centuries). In the 21st century, saying that something is a "girly term" is outdated.

What is an adjective for a ponytail? Thick? Bushy? What else?

I checked the collocation dictionary but ponytail is not in it.

A ponytail could be long, short, thin, fat, curly, tight, loose and probably many other things.
