describe sun through the trees

Hello

How can I describe the shining sun through the branches of trees?

I thought about using the verb "dapple" but I don't think it works for this picture, does it?

I want to describe this photo in a glorious way. And it's for myself.

I agree that it doesn't really work there. Sunlight is usually described as "dappled" when it is shining through leafy branches.
