    Cancelling an appointment

    I'm practicing various topics

    Title : Cancelling an appointment

    Question: I'm afraid I have a problem you need to resolve. You just arrived at the swimming pool, but it won't open until next weekend. Call your friend to explain the situation, and then offer two or three alternatives about this matter.

    Answer:
    Hey, Junho.
    Im sorry I have bad news for you.
    The swimming pool is closed now.
    Its closed until this weekend because it's under construction.
    I have thought about three alternatives to this matter.
    One is to go to another pool. It takes about half an hour to get there.
    The second one to delay our appointment to next week, when the construction is over.
    The third one is that we just have a drink together instead of swimming.
    What do you think of my suggestions?

    =======================
    If I have made any mistakes, please let me know.

    Re: Cancelling an appointment

    It's just for variation. Repeating the same structure makes the text monotonous/boring.
