...little to no use for money...

Hi everyone, are there any mistakes or repetitions in this piece of writing? I'm grateful for any contribution.

    ************************************************** *******************************************

Gan was soon running around like nothing had happened, typical of children in his age group, but for the rest of his life, he never forgot how much Rui had done for him. Rui went from being considered part of the family to being a beloved member, but only by the immediate family, relatives outside Yang’s family would never know he existed. Rui succeeded in building semiautonomous medical nanobots about eleven months later and perfected them three months after that. Yang had to again take credit for Rui’s work which meant he had to study Rui’s notes and designs so that he could explain it all to the doctors that would use them and the engineers that would take over the manufacturing of them. Yang became quite wealthy, Rui insisted that he and Yang split everything fifty/fifty. Rui had little to no use for money, except to buy things for his work.
Three passions have governed my life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind.
