Have I made any mistakes?
Mark hated to go to parties because after a few hours, when people became drunk, almost inevitably an idiot or two would lose their inhibitions and behave worse than animals. They urinated on the stairs, vomited on the carpets, groped women, shouted obscenities, broke glasses and bottles and started brawls. Last time Mark went to a party, there was that CEO, a man in his twenties, who took off his clothes, made strange sounds, and jumped on the table, shouting, "I'm an ape!" He jumped up and down along the table and screamed, imitating the animal. Mark felt his blood boiling watching that parvenu being cheeky only because he was plastered. On Monday, he was going to be silent and sombre like a funeral guest. Mark wanted to beat him to a pulp and decided to leave before his anger got better of him and made him do things he would later regret.
