They don't have a care in the world

    Hello

Can the expression "not a single care in the world" be used in the context of learning language?

Is this sentence correct? How about the register?

Children don’t have a single care in the world. They have free minds. That is not the case with adults whose minds are preoccupied with many responsibilities. So, children have less difficulty learning a new language.

    Good point. "Single" is redundant.
    I am not a teacher.

Do you want to refer only to the adults whose minds are preoccupied with their many responsibilities or do you think there should be a comma after "adults"?
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

Subtle point. I need the comma.

It's biology. Humans are hard-wired to learn a language from birth to six. After that it becomes more difficult.
