    Hi there,

    Is it correct if I say "The typical music of Spain is "Flamenco" and the typicla dance is "Sevillanas".

    Yes. But is not 'Flamenco' a TYPE of music, and THE 'Sevillanas' a PARTICULAR dance?

    You're welcome. I just meant you need to consider whether you are talking about an instance or a class when deciding on whether to use articles or not.
