Hi kahhong,
It is advisable to give some context when you ask a question.:)
Your N2 is wrong, because you've got no noun; then, what is the article for? When you compare two things you ask: What is the difference? I wouldn't say N1 is wrong, but an example would be a bit far-fetched:
You compare several pairs of things - A and B, C and D, E and F. Hence, we have 3 differences. Anyway it sounds odd to me.
That's how I see it.
Cheers.

'Different' is an adjective. 'Difference' is a noun.

okie, For an example :
What are the (different or differences) between Product A and Product B?

which one is correct answer? ;-)

Hello Humble, could you show me how to construct a correct question by using the right structure, please?
For an example noun+verb+....., something like that. :)

Hi kahhong,
Neither of them is correct. All your sentence is wrong. It should be
What is the difference between Product A and Product B?
Sorry, I don't quite understand your problem. What kind of questions would you like to make? Using these words - different, difference?
How does American English differ from British English?
Cheers
