    I'm done mincing words

Does "I'm done mincing words" mean "I am now rejecting those rhetorical words"?

I'm done mincing words, and I'm going to start naming names. It's the only effective way to put pressure and save lives. 1/

No. What do you find when you look up the expression?
    I am not a teacher.

Which is confusing you - "I'm done" or "mincing words"?
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

Okay. I searched "I'm done" and it usually means "I'm finished", which is what I don't understand. Now I guess it mean "I've given up my trying to persuade (I'm done mincing words. And instead I want to start name calling)." I am not very sure I've got it right.

    Re: I'm done mincing words

You're right about I'm done. "Mincing words" is using less-direct language and euphemism, like saying someone passed rather than "died". The twit (is that the right word for someone who tweets?*) is saying "I won't speak in a roundabout way anymore."

    *(I know it isn't. )
    I am not a teacher.
