Hello.

How do I rephrase my sentence using the word ''side?'' I need to mention that the person I am talking about revealed the best aspects of her character of which I was not aware.

''Later I found out what a great person my tutor was.''

How about:

Later I found out that she was not just a great tutor, but a great person too.

Later I discovered another side of my tutor, that what a great person she was.
Or
Aside from being a great tutor, I discovered what a great person she was.

I wouldn't use 'that' in the first. Works for me. Or maybe, "also I discovered that what a great person she was".
The second suggests to me that you were the great tutor. I don't get any relationship to me, "she was".

That works.

No one. I just have to mention it in what I am writing about.

That still begs the question "Why?" If you say "I have to ...", there must be a reason for it.

Just to keep it as close to the original sentence in Russian as possible. No secrets.

Please remember to mention in post #1 of every thread that you are translating something from Russian to English. That will save us wondering why you're writing the sentences you're coming up with. Thanks.
