Hi all,
I'm looking for adjective(s) other than talented to describe an actor who can evoke different emotions on cue. Can I use emotive to describe a person?

. Can I use 'emotive' to describe a person? Use quotation marks or italics to mark out words you are asking about.
That doesn't sound right to me.

No. "Emotive" means to provoke/spark an emotion in someone else. Whilst the actor's ability to show emotion might well be emotive, it doesn't mean the same thing. I might call the actor "emotionally versatile".
