    Inhumane

    Hello.

What is the opposite of 'inhumane'? For example, 'They shouldn't do experiments on animals. They should choose more human ways.' I am not sure 'human' is correct. I am talking about testing perfume on animals.

    Re: Inhumane

When an adjective that describes the absence of something begins with in- or un-, drop the prefix. What's left will usually be the opposite, but you should look it up to be sure.

Before asking here, did you fail to find your answer by doing a simple Google search for "opposite of inhumane" or "antonym of inhumane"?
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

I did. I also looked it up in a Russian dictionary which often suggests words you native speakers (as I was told here on this forum) don't use. So I had better ask my questions here.

    Re: Inhumane

I have just typed opposite of inhumane into the box at the top of my screen. In 0.43 seconds, I was given humane and compassionate. That seems to me to be a pretty efficient way of doing things.
