    A regular bone marrow donor

    Hi.

    Which sentence is natural?

    1) He's a regular bone marrow donor.
    2) He donates his bone marrow regularly.

I wrote this to pay tribute to Steven Chou, who donated his bone marrow for many years.

#2 (if you had helpfully numbered them) is more natural for me.

Re: A regular bone marrow donor

I like 1. I don't think anyone would assume that he only donates regular, not special, bone marrow.
"He's a regular blood donor" is very common, so bone marrow shouldn't be much different.

Besides, I don't like the word "his" in 2. It sounds like he donates it all, whereas he only donate some of it.
    "He donates bone marrow regularly."
