    help me out, please!

    Is in the sentence “he isn’t ready” the verb “isn’t” auxiliary or linking?
    could anyone please explain it to me?

    It is a linking verb.

    He = subject
    is = verb
    not = adverb of negation
    ready = predicate adjective
