    Hi.

    Are my two sentences idiomatic? Will native speakers use them?

    1) Their unfriendliness tempted me to leave the party.
    2) The train originated in Washington.


    I think 1) is very good while 2) is just wrong.

    I would say made me want to leave for the first. I agree with you about the second.
