Hello,
Is there an idiom in English which means "to intentionally make someone jealous"?
Imagine, you are at home studying and your friend is at a party. He keeps sending you pictures to make you jealous.
Or a person is on a diet, another person keeps having delicious food in front of him to make him jealous.
In my language, there is an expression which literally translates to "make someone's heart burn" for that situation.
Example:
I'm at home studying, but John is at a party. He keeps sending me pictures and telling me how awesome the party is. He is just trying to make my heart burn.
Is there a similar expression / idiom in English?
