I was asking a young boy who is learning English, a question "What did you eat for lunch?"
(The time of my conversation was 8 p.m. & he eats his lunch at noon)
His reply was "I have eaten pizza for lunch"; Is this correct answer considering 8 hours have passed since he eating his lunch?
Or, should he have answered " I ate pizza for lunch".
Which is grammatically correct?
