Hello.

This is an answer to a question "How much surrogate mothers should be paid?" If I say it can't be counted with money, I don't think it will sound natural. How should I express this idea?

The question is ungrammatical. Where did you find it?

Oh, I must have changed the original question. I don't remember what the ESL question was. I mean the question was the same but it was worded differently.

You make mistakes in quoting from your sources almost as often as I make typos. While both of us must try to be more careful, you should be aware that your mistakes waste a lot of time for members who are sidetracked by your mistakes when they would like to be dealing with your questions.

I will be more careful next time.

Presumably the question was "How much should surrogate mothers be paid?

This sounds like the topic of an essay and needs more than a sentence to answer it.

If you're going to attempt a longer answer, please post it in the Editing & Writing Topics forum.

No, I am only looking for a natural English expression, maybe an idiom or a verb to express the same idea instead of "It can't be counted with money" unless it sounds natural.

I guess you could say that other types of payment arrangements could be made. (There's a reason we use money.)

The question only makes sense if there is a third party deciding on the amount. Otherwise, one party decides how much they want to pay, and the other party decides how much they want to get paid. (If those amounts differ that's where negotiations start.)

You can't put a price on it.
It's priceless.

The value of surrogates can not be expressed in dollars/pounds.

But they do charge for their services. And they get paid with money.

They can and do put a price on those services.

Like any other business transaction, it is done on a willing-buyer-willing-seller basis and it is legal.
Both sides are satisfied with the deal and they are under no compulsion.
Who is to say that it cannot be counted with money?

It is putting a price to something, no?
