    Question brought/brings/is bringing

Hi, everyone, I am new here, I am recently trying to learn tenses from dialogues in movies, such as in what situation a tenses is used by the actors on certain scene.
this one is from Justice League (2017),
Aquaman: ... you really are out of your mind.
Batman: I am not the one who brought pitchfork.

why brought? (past tense) not is bringing?since at that moment Aquaman was still bringing the pitchfork with him.
or just use brings since Aquaman uses that weapon regularly in battle.

He is not still bringing it as he has arrived- he is still carrying it.

Take more care with capitalisation and punctuation.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
