    Could you judge my accent?

    Hello!
Could you give me some feedback about my accent, please? I've read a few threads like this and decided to talk instead of reading. So, I'll tell you about my eating and cooking habits:)

    Thanks in advance!

Your pronunciation is very good. I had to look at your profile to see where you are from.

Your pronunciation of the word "meals" sounds like "mells", and I couldn't make out the word that preceded "chicken".

Try again, and post another recording below if you like.

    Hello!
Thanks for your comments and suggestion. I do want to try again, so I made a different recording. What do you think?

Google Drive would send you my email address to request access to your file. Please find another way to share it.

Re: Could you judge my accent?

    - You say "thought I might" a little too fast.
    - The "v" in "favourite" sounds a little like a "w".

Re: Could you judge my accent?

You seem to be trying to pronounce words in a British way. However, you sometimes use 'r-coloring' - when you say "culture", for example. It's probably because of the influence of your first language.

Be careful with 'r' sounds, and your pronunciation will get much better, I'm sure.

    Keep up the good work!

I think she's saying "This time I thought I('d) like (to) talk about ..."

(Edit)I was wrong. I'm sorry, teechar. I need to brush up my listening comprehension skills.
