No Kadioguy. The correct solution to the problem was for the moderator to delete the thread. Otherwise the political content would still be there for people to read .

Thank you for the advice. I'll do so next time. However, if the moderator could send me a message to ask me to do this, rather than delete it directly, the whole thing would be simpler - I could simply obey the advice and edit my post to meet the need. To some extent, that would save our time, for this thread would not exist.
I am not a teacher. If there is anything ungrammatical in my post, please correct it. I am grateful for your help.

Why don't you use this and ask her/them(?) about it:

(I don't know if you will get a reply.)

I take your point but the fastest way for us to get rid of potentially inflammatory content is simply to delete it. Yes, the mod could have taken the time to copy the contents of the post, save it, paste it into a PM and send it to you with an explanation, but we shouldn't really have to do that. If users simply avoided posting such content in the first place, we wouldn't need to do anything similar, nor would we need to be having this conversation!
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
This article might be of interest. Perhaps supporters of Trump are simply trying to emulate his (incorrect) capitalisation of certain words.

I think I'll stop here - this is User Support Area.![]()
I'm going to move it to General Language Discussions for now (it might end up being moved again in future but we are now discussing language at least).

Here's the link.
kadioguy had already seen teechar's reply on the language content before I deleted the thread, and can PM him to repeat it if necessary.
We recently asked GoodTaste to refrain from posting threads with political content. If this had been allowed to stand, GoodTaste for one would have wanted to know why.
