    past event

How to describe past events in the present day? I get confused with the mix of present and past tense in such sentence formation.
Can you please provide an example?

That doesn't make much sense. What do you mean by "in the present day"?

I knew (at some previously specified past time) that he gives (a repeated action that happened in the past, happens in the general present and may happen in the future) his son $50.

That is possible, if that's what you meant.

    Note my corrections above.
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
