Do native speakers use "arts"?

"Dancing and singing are arts" Or "Drawings and paintings are arts."

What word we use depends on several things. Quality for one. If a painting is good enough that somebody would be willing to pay for it it is more likely to be considered a work of art.

Context is also important.

It's more of an art than a science.
