I assume both of these sentences are your own.
You need will in both cases because you're thinking about a real possible future.
Hi all,
I am wondering which of these are correct and the reasons behind them.
1. Who knows what the future will/ would bring?
2. If I am to predict the end of the world in the year 3000, should I say:
‘The world would/will end in the year 3000?’
I assume both of these sentences are your own.
You need will in both cases because you're thinking about a real possible future.
But how could the world end in year 3000 be a real possible future?
Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.
