    decade

    Can we use 'decade' for a period of ten days?

    No. It has just one definition - a period of ten years.
    Remember - if you don't use correct capitalisation, punctuation and spacing, anything you write will be incorrect.

    That's right, in the context of calendars and dates. In science and engineering, it means a group of ten.

    Never.
    I'm not a teacher. I speak American English. I've tutored writing at the University of Southern Maine and have done a good deal of copy editing and writing, occasionally for publication.
